When airborne particles and gaseous pollutants coexist — tobacco smoke, kitchen grease vapour, wildfire haze — the SmokeStop filter addresses both in a single slab. The front face carries Blueair's signature electrostatic Particle web for 99.97 % sub-micron capture, while the rear is bonded to a dense activated-carbon mat that chemically traps smoke compounds, cooking aldehydes, and volatile organic solvents. Designed for the Classic 200 chassis, the slab slides into the side cassette and immediately restores full dual-phase protection. Replace every six months for optimum smoke-handling capacity.
