While the V4's Cold Catalyst + Carbon filter handles gaseous pollutants, this companion cartridge addresses physical and biological threats. The H13 HEPA membrane captures 99.97 % of particles above 0.3 microns — PM2.5, pollen, dust fibres, and mould spores — while the anti-bacterial treatment neutralises captured viruses and bacteria, preventing them from multiplying on the filter surface. The two V4 cartridges work in tandem: this one handles particles and pathogens, the Cold Catalyst handles gases and odours. Non-washable; replace when the touch-panel indicator blinks or after approximately 3,000 hours.
