The 511i Max moves more air than the standard 511, so its pre-filter uses a marginally more open weave to avoid adding resistance to the upgraded motor. It still catches pet fur, hair, and coarse household dust effectively, extending the inner Particle + Carbon cartridge's service interval. Machine-washable and quick-drying. Install by stretching over the outer grille — no clips, Velcro, or tools required.
